You and I haven't seen eye to eye since I was demoted. And I'll admit, I let my blood run hot with all that's happened lately.
I don't regret that. I think this place needed a change. I think we needed the shake up. But I also think that now it's done, we've a chance to heal better than we started. Break a cycle. Do better than we did before.
You know what I can do. You know I've made trees grow and return from death that which has passed beyond the wall. If you'd let me, I'd like to help.

You've been setting all of us up to fail, ma'am. You even know it with how you hold onto people an extra three months. How you pull people back here.
If you helped people get real peace, work through the weight on their hearts, none of that would be necessary. But you just try and make them better liars, hiding their pain as it devours them and brings them back to the start when they eventually crack.
My Aunt Pol taught me that healing isn't pretty. Medicine is bitter. I accept that. But no healer expects that just covering the wound will help it heal.
